Description
The timing case gasket is the working seal between the timing case and the engine block, preventing contaminants out of the gear shaft area and ensuring an effective fluid seal, where symptoms of wear or failure include an oil or coolant leak. Every gasket is the same as used on original manufacturing and designed to ensure a perfect fit and effective sealing. When the timing case is removed to correct a leak, the timing components should be thoroughly inspected and replaced, if necessary.
