Colored handle for easy easy to read level indicator and easy recognition. Remember to let the oil settle with the engine off, on level ground for 5 to 10 minutes before checking the oil level. Overfilling is as bad as under filling, always maintain the oil level according to the Perkins Operation and Maintenance Manual.
